The winner of the educational project – “The First Republic of Georgia” – of the National Archives of Ministry of Justice of Georgia became Khobi 2nd Public School.

01.06.2018 Descendants of Noe Jordania in the National Archives

The National Archives was visited by the son of the first chairman of the government of the First Republic of Georgia – Redjeb Jordania and granddaughter Kristine Paghava-Boulez. The visitors viewed the exhibition “The First Republic of Georgia” in the exhibition pavilion. The exhibition, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of independence of Georgia, was opened on 25 May.

31.05.2018 Presentation of Postmarks, dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of Independence of Georgia

Presentation of postmarks, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of independence of Georgia, was held in the exhibition pavilion of the National Archives of Georgia. The idea of creating the anniversary postmarks belongs to the National Archives of Georgia and the Georgian Post. The event was opened by the Minister of Justice Thea Tsulukiani and attended by the deputy of the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Cherkezishvili, the director of Georgian Post Levan Chikvaidze and other invitees.     

30.05.2018 Album of Noe Ramishvili and the Last Archive of the Leuville Estate

A presentation of album of the first chairman of the First Republic of Georgia Noe Ramishvili was held at the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. The event, opened by the Minister of Justice, was attended by the rector of Tbilisi State University, members of the executive and legislative bodies of the government, accredited diplomatic corps in Georgia and academic society.

25.05.2018 The Minister of Justice opened an Exhibition dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of Independence of Georgia at the National Archives

Original unique documents and unknown material from LeuVille - the Minister of Justice opened an exposition, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of independence of Georgia, in the exhibition pavilion of the National Archives.

In Vilnius, in the exhibition area of the State Archives of Lithuania, exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of establishment of the First Democratic Republic of Georgia, was opened today.   

22.05.2018 Arc of the 26 May was opened at the Public Service Hall of Tbilisi

How Georgian passport has been changing from the document of the First Democratic Republic in 1918 to the modern biometric passport, which allows the citizens of Georgia to travel to the European Union and Schengen zone countries without a visa.
