Archival Studies, Source Studies – Trends and Challenges

The National Archives of Georgia welcome the submission of proposals for the Fourth International Conference Archival Studies, Source Studies – Trends and Challenges.

The goal of the conference: to collect the scientific innovations, to bring together the Georgian and foreign scientistsfor further broadening of communication, to promote the interdisciplinary and intercultural researches, toseek for the adaptation ways of the modern requests of the Cultural Heritage Management, to share the noveltiesof the digital humanitarian sphere.

Scientific directions of the conference:

• Archival studies

• Source studies

• Study of antiquities

• History/art history/ Ethnology

• Philology (textual criticism/study)

• Natural science

• Intercultural communications

• Restoration/Conservation

• Digital archives and databases

• Cultural heritage management

• Georgia and the South Caucasus in 1918-1921

 

The conference package foresees brief educational programs, held in the framework of the plenary sessions. Persons with academic degree, as well as the holders of Master’s and Doctor’s degrees are allowed to participatein the conference.

 Abstracts submission Guidelines:

• Deadline for submitting abstracts is June 28, 2019 (500 words maximum)

July 15 - Notification of abstract acceptance

The conference topic should contain scientific innovation and should not be published or read on any other scientificevent.
